Quite a bit of water on the Middle and lower river today. Rising slowly below Hereford but the colour was not too bad.  Should be fine on the upper beats from now on and over the weekend with little rain forecast.  Might be a while yet on the lower beats.

Yesterday a fish of 8lb from Coedithyl.
One of 12 lbs on fly from Gromaine.
Two more from Wyesham 13lbs and ???

One from Pwll-y-faedda to Oliver Burch and two a few days ago to Brian Skinner 9 and 12lbs.
All these three fish on spinner. Sad to see this on the good fly water of these upper beats at this time of year.
