Couple of interesting snippets from this weeks Trout and Salmon.

360,000 parr stocked in the Tyne plus 20,000 seat trout,  Enough broodstock caught up to do the same next year.      31,000 plus fish throught the fish counter (salmon and sea trout)

Those of you who fish Chew valley lake as I used to love doing so much might like to see the results of the pike fishing this autumn/winter.
632 pike were caught of which 79 were over 20lbs and 37 over 30lbs.

Despite that they had a pretty good trout season.  The pike only eat roach apparently -yea right!!!
