Showers yesterday have raised levels by another six inches or so on the upper beats and there is some colour. River still basically low however and unlikely to promote any fish movement other than into the lowest beats.

LATEST.  Today's heavy showers will prompt a small but very dirty spate with the Ithon heavily coloured at present

LATER STILL.  Continued heavy rain and showers is now prompting a proper spate which should reach all areas by tomorrow though I suspect it will drop quite quickly. Lets hope it brings something in its wake later in the weekend on the upper beats at least .

Hurricane Bertha didn't give everyone just a side swipe. The Dulnain (Spey tributary) got the full force.

NO NEED TO REMOVE BLOCKAGES ANY MORE.  HOW TO UTILISE THE SPAWNING GRAVELS ABOVE THE ELAN DAMS.  MUST BE A GRANT FOR IT SOMEWHERE.!!!
Getting some fish might be the only problem.
