Patchy rain yesterday had little effect. Still algae problems on lower river especially as the day progresses.
. However Coedithiel had their first fish of the season yesterday-. 16lb caught with the ubiquitous flying C  by Mike Berry

Early this morning regular Cadora rod Andy Fenner had another fish from there at about 18lbs. I suspect on the flying C.

Yesterday's joke seemed to go down particularly well by all accounts. Plenty of  England football jokes around at present, such as,

Teacher in class was asking the pupils what their fathers occupation was.  All was well until she came to little Johnny. And what does your father do she said, "
He's a topless pole dancer in a gay nightclub Miss. He dresses in women cloths and has sex with men for money". Teacher took him outside and said," That's not true Johnny is it?"   No Miss he said, he's an  England footballer but I was too embarrassed to say.
