Upper river has cleared well and is looking good,   The torrential rain forecast looks like nothing but a damp squib and should have little effect.
One would expect quite a few fish this weekend off beats from Moccas and above.


Latest.    Sorry everyone, storms were more severe on the upper river than anticipated and Irfon and upper Wye below Builth now badly affected by colour. Only risen 8/9 inches but enough to do the damage.
