LATEST.     Just seen the river at Hay on Wye.  Have to say its probably as bad a colour as I have ever seen it.

 Only a slight drop on the river overnight, peaking now on the lowest beats.  Outlook not great for the rest of the week.

Some of you may have seen the BBC Countryfile programme last night where they mentioned the Phospate and other pollution problems on the Wye.

Personally I thought it was all a little lightweight and low key with none of the big players taking part.  Where were EA/NRW, where were Welsh Water and where were WUF for that matter.

As usual it seemed everyone else is to blame and as for the farmers rep.  Say no more..
