Yet another slug of water on its way down from the upper river.   Looks like that will end the season for many especially those middle and downstream beats.

Towy continues to fish well for salmon with a friend taking three in a day last weekend and losing another the next day on a rising river at Golden Grove.   It was often said the wye is bucking the trend.  It certainly is this year but in the wrong direction.
