River continues to drop and clear so,ewhat/   Still too high for most beats but a  few more days without rain will make a big difference.   Not heard of anyone actually fishing yet but no doubt one or two have.
A friend reports information regarding a 24lb fish caught on the Severn above Shrewsbury before the massive spate, on a yellow devon minnow so who knows what the next week might bring.
