I'm sad to report the death of another long time Wye fisherman and character, Jerry Lewis.

Jerry had a fall on the 27th January and broke his hip. and unfortunately, because of underlying health problems his condition deteriorated and he died at Leominster on the 27th February.

He was a member of the Wye Gillies Association and despite his advanced years still worked as a  part time Gillie at Caradoc and latterly the Carrots fishery.
His funeral will be at Hereford Crematorium on Thursday 19th March at 3.00pm
