With the season little more than a month away still no news regarding the new byelaws for the Wye and Dee.  Be interesting to see just how much more difficult they intend to make it for us.

May not buy a salmon licence this season.  Stick to barbel fishing with lobworm or a single handed trout rod with a beefy cast and a small salmon fly. Why not - plenty of trout caught on salmon flies and vice versa.   With that tackle  can't see I would be doing anything wrong -can you?
