Still a lot of water around -too much for most beats.   One guy was seen spinning with a plug, probably say he was pike fishing or he could even have used the worm for barbel, chub etc. had he so wished.  Strange days, useless byelaws, no one to enforce them.  What the hell just sell a ticket there is no one to question you.  Just follow the money.!!

I see the head of the EA replying to a critical article regarding the state of our rivers basically said that all was well with the world.  Our rivers had never been cleaner etc. etc.  Makes you despair really.
