More rain in the hills but very little locally.  Looks set for another moderate rise at least and the outlook is good for spawning fish who can get where they want to be unhindered.

Saw a piece on the Welsh news today from the banks of the Usk where a new youngsters 'conservation' group is being set up to save mammals many of which are apparently in danger.
We had a lecture from a young girl from Cardiff who had just it seems discovered there is a countryside outside of the city.  As for saving anything the only thing she mention was an 'oyster' of all things.   Not sure the banks of the Usk was quite the right destination.Perhaps WUF are missing something.!!!!!     No mention of saving the salmon of course.
