Been a few fish caught while I was away it seems, notably from the Nyth.   Pretty much stale coloured fish by the look of it with seemingly nothing new coming in from the estuary which iss a big dissapointment.  Most fish caught from now on look likely to be pretty stale and not muuch of a challenge other than to try and make this seasons total look just a little better.

Did see a fish while I was away.  However it was on the wall of the Loch Awe hotel.  A superb fish of 55lbs caught in the Awe in 1901.     A stunning fish and a superb cast.  See below;
