Some talk on the Salmon fishing forum about a fly called the Wye Grub and it's similarity to the Usk Grub.
In Frodins book |Classic salmon Flies, there is a photograph of the Wye Bug, in existence in 1895/
It bears only a passing resemblance to the Usk grub and is rather more complicated. See picture below. With all that Jungle cock an expensive fly to tie
