One fish reported from, yes the Rectory, yesterday.  12lbs to Mr Batty -must be a joke there but I shall refrain. 
Temprature a little lower  but river desperately low.  Was on the middle river below Hereford yesterday. Looked like a dirty ditch!

Mentioning dirty I see today's headlines in the Times suggest no river is safe to swim in.  I think we all knew that about our local river didn't we.

The disgraceful algae situation goes on and on.  After a couple of days of clearer water I understand its back again worse than ever on the lower river.  Once again the fishing is at a standstill and one has to ask the question where do we go from here.
Owners are loosing out and so are the few gillies trying to make a living.  the Putcher rank owner Mr Mott can make a claim for compensation against the EA . Why not owners and individuals trying to make a living.   As for WUF   Bloody silence as usual.
