Sorry no report yesterday -didn't seem much point somehow.
A little rain locally this morning but not enough to make a puddle so far despite Met office reporting signifiocant rain.

I see our old putcher friend Mr Mott has won his case against the EA (yet again) and this time copped for £187,000 pounds compensation. Considering he claims to have been making £60,000 a year from the putcher rank perhaps he would consider giving some back to help the river Wye and Severn. Not sure they ever established from which river he took most of his fish.
I remember WUF raised something like £10,000 some years ago to stop him fishing his putchers. The Wye Gillies contributed most of what money they had. I turned out it was just for one year, a completely useless exercise. Mind you only one of many by WUF.
Saw this on WUF site too. Have we all gone so politically correct and brainwashed by the global warming lobby that they feel the need to put this; They will be telling us a man walked on the moon soon!!!!
WUF Note : The latest information from Welsh Water is that the (applicable) reservoirs are now stocked fortnightly but the quantity has doubled to compensate. It cuts down on transport costs (keeping prices lower), and it is also more environmentally friendly to run a lorry once, instead of twice.
