Early morning fish of 14lbs for Trevor Hyde from the Roass A C waters at Weirend on
an abu reflex spinner.

Otherwise all is same as, low river, low numbers of fish.

Redbrook  9lbs on fly for Simon Mc Lucas.

Did a bit of trout fishing this evening.  Nearly stepped into a single deep redd that could only have been made by sea lampreys.   A very tame Little Egret, the usual brood of Goosanders and plenty of Mallard   Strange thing is I havw not seen a single brood of young Mallard on several locations on the Wye and Irfon which is strange.   Otters perhaps - I know they have a taste for them..?
