We think our river is bad enough but others are much worse. I was shown some figures from the Taff which may or may not illustrate the usefulness of the now defunct hatchery.
The Radyr trap operates three days per week and catches have gone from 98 in 2006 up to 376 in 2011 and back down in 2018 to just 10. Catches have just fallen away since closure of the hatchery.
Speaks for itself really doesn't it.
