Some rain around overnight, not a lot in many areas and very patchy.  However the Trothy is in spate and badly coloured the river for the lower beats below its confluence.  Other tribs elsewhere may also prove a temporary problem with colour.  Some extra water in Monnow too.
Uppermost beats totally unaffected as are the Irfon and Ithon

Latest report is that the river is virtually unfishable below the old Bridge/Monnow junction due to heavy colour..
Some colour and a slight rise from the Lugg too-so I'm told.

Fish yesterday from Redbrook for Robin Stuart 13lbs
14lbs from the Nyth for Cecelia White.      Both fish on fly.
10lb Holme Lacy 3  Colin Richardson, mepps.

River Trothy this morning
