Looks like a dry week ahead.  Has anyone seen any Shad yet -they seem conspicuous by their absence.   Pity there seems to be a lot of spinning going on in good fly water when fish survival is said to be so important?

Since my mention of shad there have been reports of the odd one as far apart as Coedithiel and Hay , Golden Mile and  Wye.  However its is only the odd one not the big shoals we are used to seeing.  any other reports would be appreciated.
