No rain overnight so river continues its slow drop and continues to clear downriver.
Strange split of fish this year with nothing it seems well upriver , Builth wells and above and of course no fish for downstream beats yet due to conditions.. Despite the condition F/C still sadly seems the method of choice with the favourite weight 20lbs?  Are they weighed I wonder or just estimated?   Does it really matter I suppose!

Abernant yesterday  Estimated 21lb fish to Krzysztof Galka on a Snaelda
The Rocks.  One on Friday 18lbs and a 10lb fish on Saturday to Richard Thomas

Ingeston  15lbs for Alex Nichols
17lbs from The Cafn pool, Nyth

Ireland 1903.  Was this the good old days or the bad.  You decide.
A similar bounty for cormorants was once offered on the Wye.  Now it's just a heft fine
