A much better day yesterday with some quality fish the Wye has so often produced.

A 25lb fish from the Rectory's Gravel catch to Gordon Richards. Method unknown
A 23lb and 17lb fish on a Blue Rapala from Caradoc to Jim Morrison
8lbs from  Ingeston to David Slade who also had a 12pounder on Sunday both on f/c
Jerry Odie had a fish of 13lbs from Whitney beat 5 on a Conehead Monkey late yesterday evening.

There is also I understand an as yet unconfirmed report of a 28lb fish from the Spreadeagle

With much of the river now having reasonable conditions we should expect more fish with hopefully a few more of the big springers amongst them.

Latest.. 25lbs and 22.5lbs to Edward Jefferson Lower Carroys and Luggsmouth. Super quality fish.
22lb fish from Loxsters  beat five Whitney for Tim Stone  F/C
19lb fish from aramstone today  Quarry pool by Stan Turner.  F/C    See hos 30lb and 19lbs fish below.  Stunning fish,  Well done Stan

Some heavy rain today.  Upper river starting to rise again.  \How much? - considerable I think.

Interesting and much as we expected.;  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-43883453
