Well its all over for another year, much to the relief of the spawning stock who will be able to hopefully spawn in piece on most of the main river. Season goes on until the 24th October upsteam of llawrythyl bridge and on the tributaries which is frankly a complete disgrace and WUF should encourage anglers to stay away from all these spawning areas, but of course they wont.

We shall now see a mad race to get as many numbers as possible from various, until now, 'unreported' sources to try and boost figures further.
How many fish have been caught twice I wonder,  We shall never know  but it's certainly not viable to compare todays figures with those before catch and release and certainly not with historical figures from the past.  But of course they will!!

Oh dear. Only ONE group of canoeists.  He should be grateful he got off so lightly. Most of us would be happy with just one incident!!

Last day of the season,started well for us with GO catching one in the willow pool.Then it went down hill with a group of canoeists coming down the river.Informed WUF who said I could confront them which I did only to be told "sorry mate I made a mistake and we are going through down to the bridge"I asked him to get out there and then and also that he has committed trespass SORRY was his reply
