River dropping well now and clearing well too.  Still plenty of water for some beats but next few days should see an upturn in catches, coloured though most of them will be

'Local angler' still does his best to keep catches going and anglers fishing,especially on the Erwood
beats of course???    He reports fish of 15lbs and 13lbs from Gromaine -or perhaps upper Llanstephan and one of course from the Rectory. Regular rod Tim Hughes also reports another fish from the Rectory's gravel catch.

So there you have it>  Make of it what you will!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Just saw this on the Salmon fishing Forum run by the Bradshaw guy who briefly worked at Sportfish, fished the river a few times but knew it all and had a brief love affair with WUF.   Same guy who banned anyone from his Salmon Fishing  forum who dared to be critical of WUF  or question them in any way.

Following a question regarding how many fin clips have been reported he penned this;

"Just to let everyone know that I have been PM'd (by a person involved with the project) to say none have been reported. I can't remember when the last stocking was now but is this the last year they would be expected to be back? Or could monster 3 sea-winter fish come back next year!"

Typically sarcastic, gloating individual. At least he's not local anymore!
