Still plenty of water but looking much better. Colour reasonable, though dirtier downstream areas though Irfon is black/acidic looking
No real rain forecast so should be reasonable over the next few days..

Local angler angler -who else- reports it seems a fish from the Rectory -where else. Just a rumour really.
12lb coloured fish from Spreadeagle for Roger Plowden on a monkey tube
6lb fish from the Rectory- where else- for Richard Thomas.
10lb fish from Boatside for Joe Gooch
Lower Carrots and luggsmouth 12lb fish for gillie.

Mention on todays Welsh news re the proposals for new byelaws on Welsh rivers. Some pretty unconvincing arguements from EA 'scientist' Peter Gough whose more or less presided over the decline in the Wye and Welsh rivers for decades now.  Perhaps it's time for fresh blood and a new way of looking at things

Latest fun  vessel on the Wye today at Ingeston .  Six xxxxxxxx on a self constructed craft, unable to control it in any meaningful way causing as much mayhem as possible. Just one lifejacket in view. Where will it all end one wonders
