It's HOT HOT HOT..Unlikely to be anything new until conditions change drastically.

Rapid rise in river temps.  Ross 20.5 Tuesday. 22.3 Wednesday  24.2 degrees at 6.30pm today.

Thankfully it might be cooling down just a little the next few days. Hopefully

Doesn't bother some though obviously -mad dogs and Englishmen and well worth the trip from Devon.!!!!   Still all helps the finances.

Area:Upper Wye
Beat:Gromain & Upper Llanstephan
Fishing:Salmon
No. of Anglers:2
Only 1 rod fished . Low water (9") and bright sunshine but a salmon was prepared to take the fly in the neck of the spring pool a 8am but it fell off. A lovely 2lb trout from the leaning willow also provided some excitment.
