As suggested much better conditions today, dropping slowly and clearing with some fish around upstream now it seems.

A 6 lb fish yesterday from Foy for Lawrence Birkin.

TODAY
From the Rectory today so far..  3 fish to Phil Kerwin from the Rectory Rock Pool.
2 at 12lbs and one at 11lbs. One with sea lice.  Method unknown at present.
3 more to John Kerwin  11 to 15lbs on fly. And another for his brother Phil. Mostly sea liced apparently.
That's a day to remember alright and good to see the Wye can still do it now and again.

17lb fish from the Red Lion to Kenny Powell on a spindle fly.
Two fish fom Tyrcelyn 8 and 12lbs on fly.
14lb fish from Spreadeagle to to David Thompson on a Posh tosh
Gromaine/Upper Llanstehan 8lb to Jordan Henderson and 14lbs for Simon Evans on fly
Time Hughes  28" fish from Llangoed and another by the speculative 'local angler' which doesn't count in my book
Could be some more today  yet and obviously fish are now in the upper river at last and this could be the best week of the season so you better get out there.
Still some colour around Hay and below but clearing well now and hopefully lower beats should come into some action as the week progresses
