Some rain overnight and this morning but not enough so far to have much effect.
Thankfully a few more fish were reported yesterday.
Wyesham report three fish. 18lbs to Peter Godsall, 15lbs to Stephen Braithwaite and 13lbs to John Viggers.
Two caught on flying Cs. The 15lb fish by Stephen braithwaite was fly caught.
One from the Carrots for Phillip Walker -no weight given.
The Nyth report a 19lb fish and two from Tyr Celyn 12 and 8lbs on Friday.
Latest.
14lb fish today for Lyn Cobley at Ingeston. Oh1 and the 13lb fish reported there on Monday was not caught by Lyn but by David Slade. In the interests of accuracy of course!!!
Some extra water on the Upper wye and small rises on the Ithon and Irfon will do no one any good, except the upper river when it drops. More forecast unfortunately.
See below the rather extraordinary rant from the latest WUF river report. I sincerely hope he is not refering to this site, if he is have the guts to say so.. Our aim is always to report verified catches with proper accuracy as it's important for anglers to know the details. We have never questioned anyone's integrity but do suggest that claimed weight if not weighed are described as estimates. WUF rarely do that. We know some beats for some reason, such as Huntsham and Lydbrook do not like publicity for some reason. If so why bother reporting catches. It's not good enough to report fish from ' a beat below Ross' as its of no use to anyone. Obviously the last sentence in the below paragraph is a distinct lie. Didn't bother to print the rest -nothing of any interest.
We tell how the fishing is, good or bad and seek to get photographs when possible -ever seen a WUF one?
Only last week we pointed out fish reported by WUF being reported twice by them and they then removed them.
Doesn't really matter who reports fish to who or why as long as it true and accurate.
Oh and here's a picture of the fish we reported from Winforton on Monday by James Griffiths. Please note WUF-Monday last. Dont report it again.! Please.

Thanks to all who send us speedy and detailed reports of salmon caught. The information is posted as soon as possible on ourSalmon Blog, which we hope is not only interesting to anglers but also useful in helping them make decisions on where to concentrate their efforts. Combined with our river gauges, up to date information can be accessed 24 hours a day. Unlike other sites that seem determined to paint fishing in as bad a light as possible, it gives key details of the catches (where, when, how, estimated size) but without any politics, soapbox ranting or questions over anglers’ integrity. Interestingly, some Wye anglers now prefer to give us their catch returns anonymously, understandably tired of having their honestly called into question by such sites.
